The Caldwell Model 82 family provides heavy-duty C-hooks for coil handling, with general capacities from 5 to 50 tons. The specific model is selected around load dimensions and weight.
Model 82RC is intended for space-constrained operations: its recessed counterweight lets coils sit closer together and improves storage-area use. Optional padding can also protect coil surfaces.
Selection must preserve alignment between the suspension point and the load center of gravity while validating capacity, geometry, clearance and work method.
